Bill Stephens (CIC)
Bill started his insurance career in 1965 with the Swartzel Insurance Agency and in 1981 started the Stephens Insurance Agency. Bill has been a licensed Property and Casualty and Life and Health Agent since 1965, earning his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1982.
Bill is a Past President of the Oakwood FOPA, the Sertoma Club of Dayton, the Independent Insurance Agents Association, and has been active in numerous professional and community organizations. He is a life-long resident of Dayton, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, graduate of Oakwood High School and attended Miami University.
Pam Stephens (CISR)
Pam started in the insurance business in 1981 when Bill formed the agency and she handled the bookkeeping. Although she had grown up in the business and often helped out at her father's agency while in school, working in the industry was not in her plans. She received her BFA in Radio-Television Education at University of Cincinnati and her MA in Communications from the University of Dayton. Several years passed both working at the agency and teaching part-time at Sinclair Community College. Then it became time to devote all of her efforts to the business in 1990. She has earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. Pam handles most of the Commercial accounts, the accounting functions, and also handles Personal Lines accounts.
She is the mother of two, and the grandmother of four. She is also active with Dayton LaSertoma Club and Hospice of Dayton, and has served on the Oakwood Comprehensive Plan Committee and the Oakwood Public Facilities Task Force, past president of the Oakwood Business professionals association, and active in her church.
Rob Stephens (LUTCF)
After Rob graduated from Oakwood High School, he went on to graduate from Wittenberg University with a BA in Business Administration in 1990. After working three years for Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati and Cleveland, Rob returned home to work for the family business in January 1994. He handles Personal Lines and Life Insurance for the agency. He has served on Oakwood City Council since 2010. He coached the Varsity Football Team at Oakwood High School for 12 years. He is also a Charter Member of the OHS Athletic Hall of Fame Committee. As an Oakwood Rotarian, he was President in 2001-2002 and was Chairman for two years of Oakwood's largest festival, That Day in May. He is the Executive Director of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Dayton. Rob is married to Sharon, a graduate of Alter High School and Eastern Kentucky University. They have two children, Emmy and JC.
Ann Joyce
Ann began her insurance career with the agency in 1991, becoming a licensed agent shortly after. She is people-oriented and handles most of the personal accounts as well as all billing matters.
Ann is a native Daytonian, graduate of Julienne High School, married to Kevin, and has two children. In addition to her involvement with the agency, and visiting often with her extended family, Ann likes to walk and bike as well as taking care of her five grandchildren.
Janice Skinner
After an early career in banking Janice began her insurance career in 2003. Janice is a licensed agent and handles most of the claims in the agency. A native Daytonian, and graduate of Alter High School, she is married to David, and has two children who keep her very busy.
She is devoted to her family, and in her spare time she volunteers for the Miami Valley Spina Bifida Organization, plays volleyball and enjoys hiking.
Cindi Duncan
Cindi joined our team in March of 2023. She is very motivated and helps our clients with policy endorsements. She also quotes existing and new business. Cindi is a native Daytonian, a graduate of Centerville High School, and has three young children. Cindi enjoys being outside, specifically hiking and kayaking.
